It dominates between two waterfalls, in the Palaiokarya Gorge, bridging the banks of Portaikos. It was built around 1550 and connected the Gate and the surrounding villages with the area of Aspropotamos. It is a monotone stone bridge with a length of 26 meters, a height of 10 meters and apron opening 19 meters. Its presence is combined so harmoniously with the natural environment giving the impression that there is there ever. The tranquility of the landscape is only interrupted by the perpetual hummingbirds that look like to embrace the bridge. Together with rich vegetation and steep rocks make up a fairy-tale scene habitable by fairies and elves.
